Love Boy

On Thursday when I went to pick up Jeremiah his teacher informed me
that our little boy was kissing a girl. She said that he dipped her
back....opened his mouth as wide and big as possible.....and planted
three smoocheroos. On the fourth one he got rejected; she hit him!

WE DID IT!!

We finally cut Jeremiah's hair last night! His hair was getting to be quite long. I prefer shorter haircuts so Jake got out the clippers and away we went. I must say it was a challenge keeping Jeremiah still. I had to break out all of the songs I sing with the preschoolers and a few snacks. I love his hair now!
Above are the before and after pictures. The back is where you can tell the most difference! Unfortunately we don't really have any proof of that.

Valentine's

On Friday my dad and his fiance came down to visit us. We started the night by going to our church for our great mystery dinner theater. Jake won the costume contest!!! He is so creative! On Saturday we went out to eat and did a little shopping. Sunday, we went to church and got ready for the week! The best thing for me was that Jake surprised me with BEAUTIFUL roses! He is such an amazing husband! I am so thankful for him! What did you all do for Valentine's day?

Church Family

When Jake and I first moved down here we struggled with not having all our family near us. We thought about moving back many, many times. Then we started to ask God for friends like family. Oh man, did he ever answer that prayer. He is SO faithful! Our church is So AWESOME! I mean so many people in our church are just like our family!It is AMAZING! Everyone in our church is so caring and loving! I just lOVE it! God is just SO faithful! He met that desire of ours! We KNOW that we need to be here and God brought us EVERYTHING we need! I love him! He is so awesome!

Silly Boy

This afternoon when Jeremiah got up from his nap he had a little snack. After his snack he went under our pub table and squatted down. A few minutes later he looks up at me with his cute little eyes and says, "poo-poo." I was thinking does he even know what that means even though we try to tell him every time we change him. So I proceeded to check his diaper and what do you know there was poo-poo!I was a very proud mom!
Another little story for you. Jeremiah's sippy cup was up on the counter and I guess he was thirsty because he was reaching way up high for it and whinning. I said, "Jeremiah we don't whine, you say please." He then obeyed quickly and said, " peeeaas!" I love it! He is so much fun! I know I say that a lot but he is!

I am not quit sure what to blog about tonight. So, tell me what is new with you? What is God doing your lives?

Sweet Boy

Tonight, Jeremiah and I were doing our normal bed time routine. I started rocking him as I usually do because I love this time with him. He laid his head on me and then he picked his head up, opened his mouth wide and leaned in for a kiss! I LOVE it when he does that. It is so special.
Another thing we discovered about Jeremiah is that he is becoming a climbing boy. Last night as we were watching a basketball game we look over and see that Jeremiah has opened up our coffee table drawer climbed into that and then climbed on top of the coffee table. He then decided that he did not want to be on top anymore so he climbed back into the drawer and was just sitting there! He also likes to climb on the couch and try to sit on the end table. It is amazing how in one day a child just decides he wants to climb! I love watching Jeremiah grow!

Excercise Challenge

So have most of you have already read on Jake's blog we have some physical goals that we are going to be accomplishing this year. I am really excited about this and can't wait to beat Jake!!!! For myself I will be working out a whole lot more in order to lose my desired amount of weight. Jake is desiring to gain some pounds (man, must be rough)! So, check back and see how we are doing!!!

Discipline

Lately, our little Jeremiah has been trying to get away with certain behaviors. The cool thing is that every time Jake and I tell Jeremiah no he runs to us crying. He runs to us and then he wants to hug us. He is just so sweet. It makes you feel bad for discipling him but it is something that needs to be done. I am so blessed to have such a sweet little boy who does not like to disappoint his parents!

Christmas week!

I haven't blogged for awhile. It has been quite busy lately with Christmas shopping and parties! This week is going to be quite busy as well. We will be preparing for our big family to come down! All of Jake's family is coming in on Christmas Eve! So we will have about 22 plus people at Nate and Evan's wonderful home for a few days! It should be lots of fun! I hope to post some Christmas pictures after this week of all the fun we have! Have a merry Christmas!

Random Thoughts

So Jeremiah said "cracker" tonight!It was pretty exciting! He also has been signing "more" pretty well! It is SO much fun to see him grow up and do different and new things everyday.
I am excited to go Christmas shopping this weekend! I really wish we could bless everyone with HUGE gifts! Someday soon! God is faithful! I am also looking forward to having Jake's entire family here for Christmas! It should be lots of fun!I really enjoy this time of year and I enjoy watching Christmas movies!
I have the BEST husband in the whole world! He loves God with all his heart and desires to do everything that God says and has for him! He is such a hard worker and an AMAZING dad!
Well I guess those are all my random thoughts for now!

Jeremiah's First Birthday Party!

Here are some pictures from Jeremiah's first birthday! I will have to say that Jake and I were both surprised at how much he enjoyed opening his presents. He would pull tissue paper out and everything! It was very exciting to watch! He also enjoyed his cake very much! We ventured out to make his baby einstein caterpillar pinata and it turned out pretty good! We liked it anyway! The bounce around was fun as well. Although, Jeremiah did not really care for it! All in all it was a great first birthday party and we were SO grateful for all the friends and family who joined us! We love you all very much!

Happy 1st Birthday Jeremiah!

Today is Jeremiah's first birthday! I can't believe that one year has already gone by. Everyday watching him do new things, say new things, and grow up has been absolutely amazing! I am continually amazed at him! I love him so much! He is my little buddy! The cutest, most precious little boy in the world! Everyday just gets better and better! I love you Jeremiah! Happy Birthday!
