New Revelation

Digging into the word and pressing in more and more to God is sooo rewarding. Lately, I have been getting so much revelation from the word of God. I have also received new insight at a few of our church services lately. For example, knowing that the word of God is God talking directly to us! Man, that is so exciting and makes my time in the word so much more fun! Today I was reading Deuteronomy 28 and applying that principle to my reading made me get so much out of it. God tells us to listen obediently and obey his voice and when we do it, we will receive blessing.
I have also become more aware that if a prophecy is given out loud to no one in specific we can take hold of that and stand on it! It has made me become so excited because now I can take action and stand until I see that manifest!
Jake and I have also decided that we will be becoming more cautious about not only what we say but also what we let into our ears. Some t.v.'s shows just have a tiny bit of negativity in them but you know what, that still gets into our ears and we still hear it. We have committed that whenever we watch t.v. if there is a word of negativity it is time to turn the t.v. off or change the channel. I am just realizing how important it is to guard ourselves and it is up to us to do it.
God is so cool and walking with him is such an AMAZING adventure! Everyday is so exciting and I LOVE being able to hear from God at any and all times of the day!
So what new revelations have you gotten lately?

Gardening

On Sunday afternoon after church Jake and I worked outside most of the day. I mowed the lawn and Jake did the gardening. While our little Jeremiah was sitting in the wagon watching us, listening to his daddies iphone (well, only for the picture)! Like father, like son! I can already see it now. Jeremiah will be having the latest and greatest technology due to his fathers ambitious desires to have the best technological stuff that he can get!

Equipped

God is so good! It is amazing how he will place you where you can get the most training possible to do what he wants you to do. If we were still in Minnesota I can guarantee that we would not be getting as trained up as well as we are here. The reason for that is because this is where he wants us to be. I am just thankful that God first trains us up to do what he wants rather than saying, "this is what I want you to do, now go do it." No, he trains us up and then sends us to do what he wants us to do fully equipped and he still guides us when we are walking out whatever he wants us to do. This situation specifically applies to the daycare/preschool that we are getting started at our church. I want the daycare/preschool to be such a godly atmosphere and I want the children to be trained up to follow God and hear his voice. I want them to know how to flow in the spirit even when they are young. There is no way in the world I could do that on my own. I need God to show me how and I know he is training me up right now to do this very thing. Thank you Lord for taking me to new levels and training me up for your specific plan and purpose for my life!

Hungry Boy

Jeremiah has been introduced to yummy applesauce! As you can see he thoroughly enjoys it! The other day I gave him one little bowl of applesauce and cleaned him up to get down from his highchair but apparently he was not finished. He started to cry so I decided to give him a little more applesauce and as soon as
I put one spoonful in his mouth his attitude changed. He was happy and playing with his hands on the top of the highchair tray! Jeremiah is such a joy to have around! It is really fun discovering his personality! We have discovered he likes his food!

God is Good!

This past weekend at our church we were privileged to hear Pastor Chip Brim! Those service were life changing! Jake and I started applying the messages to our life and WOW has it made a difference. I have become so watchful of my words and I have come to realize that I have not been speaking life into every area of my life. Even the little words like, "I don't know how I am going to do this and that." Well, the fact of the matter is I do know how because I rely on God and I will get whatever I need to done. Or another example would be saying, "We don't have money to do that." We DO have money to do that because God is our source. Just becoming more watchful on my words has been so powerful in my life.
I have also been working on casting my cares and thanking God! It is amazing to not have a care in the world because you just know that God is working! That in turn helps us to hear from God instead of worrying or having a care. So many times in my life I have thought about whatever situation or care and that has hindered me from hearing from God. I want to hear from God all day long! God is SO amazing! I love learning new things about him!
